Ojon Hair Products

ojon hair productsOjon, a line of hair products, screams scrumptious.  I love that there is a real story behind this line of exclusive hair products including shampoos, conditioners, and styling products.  Ojon is inspired by rare palm nut oil found in the tropical Ojon tree.  For over 500 years the Miskito Indians, living on the lowlands along the Caribbean coast, have been using this rich Ojon oil as their secret to their beautiful hair and skin.  This unique tree grows only in the rainforest of the Mosquitia region of Central America.  The Miskito Indians are referred to as Tawira Indians, which means “the people of beautiful hair”.

Still to this day the Tawira Indians still harvest and extract this rare Ojon oil as they have done for centuries.  Can you believe that!  Good for you Ojon. Sustaining the tribe and the natural environment is a very important step in sustaining the globe. Product review to come soon!  To learn more about Ojon view this incredible video.

Kate Hudson Hair Care Line: David Babaii for Wild Aid!

kate hudson hair care david babaii wild aidDavid Babaii and Kate Hudson have teamed up to launch a super inspirational line of eco-friendly hair products, David Babaii for Wild Aid.  A few months ago I mentioned the new launch.  Lucky me, David Babaii, was nice enough to send me a sneak peak on the product line including shampoos, conditioners, styling products, and appliances.

I tested out the amplifying shampoo and conditioner and LOVE IT!  The shampoo is made from Polynesian white ginger and volumizing volcanic ash and is sulfate, paraben, and petroleum free!   I really felt good about using this product and the results were fab.  More volume, more shine, and a healthy glow!  All of this with no animal testing!  David Babaii for Wild Aid also has a bohemian beach spray which creates natural beach curls that are fantastic this time of year.  Run don’t walk and get yourself on the animal-eco-friendly band wagon.  The best part you don’t have to sacrifice your hair!
