Question: Could you feature some styling tips for short-medium length hair? The length I mean is the one that is so hip right now in bobs (Think Katie Holmes, Posh, etc).
Thanks much!

Can the HAI Elite Rod create lasting curls even after using the Hai (when it straightens it stays straight)straightner?
Hi Melissa! Yes you can totally use both irons. Simply straighten first with your Hai and then use the Rod to create curls. Try a tiny bit of curl enhancing cream and some light hairspray when using the Rod to coax the curls. Did you know you might not need to straighten first? The Rod does a great job of smoothing the strands while shaping the curls, so if your hair doesn’t have too much curly texture, you might be able to get away with using the Rod only. Either way, invest in a good thermal protectant to coat your hair before using any iron - but of course you knew that!
question: is there any other keratin treatment than bkt 411 which is SAFE, i have a curly fuzzy hair, and i need to straighten it , i was advised by my hair dresser to use keratin then i checked your site, now i have big doubts. thanks
Hi Randa,
I would check with my stylist to be 100% sure that any keratin or straightening treatment the salon is using is natural and chemical free. That would be the safest bet. Formaldehyde and other toxins are such dangerous ingredients for you and for the stylist to breathe in - your doubts are valid!
Hi,
I am a haircolorist at a high profile salon in nyc. I totally love what you doing with this site.
Is the CHI Silk Infusion Reconstructing Complex a thermal protectant product? PLs help….If not , i would like to return the product…….
Hi Archana,
Yes the CHI silk Infusion is a thermal protector. So you have nothing to worry about.

I’m trying to find some hair products, either shampoo and conditioner or leave in treatments, that have a great smell that stays in the hair. I can’t stand it when you put in those lovely smelling products but the smell vanishes. So, do you know of any?
I am trying to decide between the chi turbo and the chi nano hairdryers. I currently have the turbo which I bought 2 1/2 years ago. I am having problems turning it on so I believe the switch is about to go. I need to get a replacement but I can’t decide bewteen the two. Any advice? Also can I use the diffuser from my old turbo on the nano? Thanks!
Hi Christina,
So here is the scoop on both of the hairdryers. There is very little difference between the Chi Turbo and the CHI Nano. The main difference is the Nano technology. Honestly it is the handle of the dryer that has the nano technology infused to reduce the spread of harmful bacteria. If you are only using it then there is no need for it. The Nano hairdryer does have one more speed setting and an extra 100 watts of wattage. If I were you I would just stick with the CHI Turbo. I love that dryer!

Hi Annelise,
If you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner it is hard for the smell to stay in your hair as oils and outside factors start to seep into the hair. What I would suggest is the Clean Hair Fragrance. Simple spray it on and poof nice smelling hair!
You can purchase on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Clean-Hair-Fragrance/dp/B0006BDS7A
Sorry we do not carry it as of yet.
Hope this helps,

Where can I get replacement sponges for my steam rollers? I have used mine so much that they have disintegrated and I can’t use my rollers.
Hi Elizabeth,
I completely understand your issue! First I am going to assume that you are using the Caruso steam roller system. Which we all love! If that is the case yes the Caruso system lasts a lifetime but the rollers wear out. You are in luck. Caruso sells replacement rollers for the system and they are only $9.95 for a pack of 6. You can purchase them at StyleBell click here to go to the caruso replacement rollers. Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
